What happens so often is that a Do-It-Yourselfer (DIY)excitedly started a project. Measures the area of the room or rooms runs down to Home Depot or Lowe’s Home Improvement.

All starting well so far.  Product gets selected and purchased.  The excitement wears off and the product gets put in the garage and kept in the boxes.  Months go  by, and finally someone (often the wife) says get the new floors done! I am tired of this old dirty carpet.

Project gets started and sweat rolling, then when the project is about 80% done the realization that there is not enough sticks of the flooring left to complete.  That’s OK, send the wife to Home Depot and pick up a few more boxes.

She happily runs down to the store, but is unable to find it.  Speaks to the Flooring Sales Associate only to find out that it was discontinued months back.

AUGH!  What now?  It is nowhere to be found.

  6. Hello, All. We are in need of a box of the OLDER, WARMER version of Trafficmaster Clarksville Oak 6 in. W x 36 in. L Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring (24 sq. ft. / case). This is NOT a discontinued item, but the newer die lots are a cooler brown than they were a couple years ago when the floor was put in. We are needing to replace some boards in a house we’re renting, and the new die lots are cooler/grayer than the original flooring and don’t match at all enough for the property manager’s taste.   61. I had allure commercial (stamped steel sliver) flooring installed in my bathroom 3 days ago . Although I had it installed by a person that has done numerous jobs for me including other flooring, which I was always satisfied with; I must say I am 100% disappointed in this floor. I was present while he was doing the floor and I don’t beleive there is anyway to intstall this product so that it looks like a professional job. The seams are too noticable. Although it was very expensive, I have decided to remove it and replace it with something else. Needless to say I will never recommend this to anyone.
